Getting started
Six steps from a new group to your first trade night. Takes a few minutes.
Start a group
- On trayde.app/gruenden create an account: username, password and postcode.
- Choose a group name and your nickname in the group.
- Done - you are the group's admin.
No email address needed. One account works for all your groups. Best set up a passkey afterwards: then you sign in with Face ID or fingerprint. Forgot your password? Just confirm on another signed-in device.
Invite friends
- In the group, turn on the invite link under Group.
- Share the link or show the QR code - via WhatsApp, Discord or in person.
- Anyone who joins creates their own account; as admin you approve them.
Anyone who already has an account joins with one tap. Everyone picks their own nickname in each group.
Put it on your phone
iPhone
- Open in Safari.
- Share → Add to Home Screen.
- Open via the new icon and sign in once if needed.
Android
- Open in Chrome.
- Menu → Install app.
- The icon is now on your home screen.
Huawei Browser
- Open the menu at the bottom right .
- Add to home screen - depending on the version under Add to or Share.
- No icon? Give the browser the Create shortcuts permission - or use Chrome.
Samsung Internet
- Open the menu at the bottom right .
- Add page to → Home screen.
Then turn on Settings → Notifications, and the app lets you know about new matches.
Add cards
What you have doubles of
- In the bar at the bottom: Cards → Offer → Offer a card.
- Search by name, set or number - or scan.
- Choose print, language and quantity → I offer it.
What you're looking for
- Cards → Wants → Want a card.
- A specific card - or general, e.g. "any Charizard, AR or better".
- For general wants, tick off what you already have under except ….
- Not urgent? Tap the heart instead of "I want it" and the card goes under Would like.
Your cards apply in all your groups. "Pikachu 024/128" finds exactly the card with that number, "Binder page 3×3" scans nine cards at once. Already have a list on Cardmarket or in a spreadsheet? Under Cards → Import list, bring in a CSV file.
Trade
- Under Discover you see every card from your groups and your friends that matches your wants. In the group under Matches they are listed by person.
- Tapping a card or person opens the chat. Above the message field there is already a fair proposal: Propose sends it, under More you add or remove cards.
- The other side accepts, declines or changes something - all in the same chat. Accepted cards are reserved for you both.
- Hand over the cards - tap Yes, got it in the chat once you have yours. Only then is the trade booked.
If it doesn't fit directly, the matcher suggests three-way trades. If someone wants your card without a matching trade, it shows under Your cards are in demand. Want to give a card without getting one back? In the chat under More, tick only your card.
Plan a meetup
- In the group under Overview → Meetups, tap Plan a meetup.
- Enter a title, place and time - the group gets notified.
- Everyone who joins sees a packing list: which cards to bring for whom and what they can get.
- At the meetup, tick off in the packing list what you handed over - the other side confirms receipt.
Ideal for regular meetups and card shops. As admin you can also pin an announcement at the top of the group and notify everyone if you like.
FAQ
Does it cost anything?
No. TraYde is free and ad-free.
Who sees my cards and contacts?
Your groups and your friends see your cards. Contacts are only visible to people you share them with in the chat yourself, and they are stored encrypted.
Can I be in several groups?
Yes, with one account. All your groups are on the home screen, and your cards apply everywhere. Nobody sees which other groups you're in.
Can I trade with someone without a shared group?
Yes. Add the person as a friend: scan their QR code (home screen → "Show friend code"). Once they accept, you see each other's profile, lists and matches and can chat.
What is "Would like"?
A soft want for cards you'd like but don't urgently need. It counts with lower priority in matches, without notifications, and on its own doesn't count as "trade possible". Under Wants you switch between the two with the heart.
Can I look at a card more closely?
Yes. Tap the card image - in your lists, in matches or in profiles. The card appears large with set, number, print and approximate price, plus "I offer it" and "I want it".
How well does scanning work?
The camera reads the card's name and number and finds it in the catalogue - even nine cards of a binder page at once. A photo can't always reliably tell the print (normal, reverse, Poké Ball), so check that quickly yourself. How many photos you can take per day depends on your level.
Is it suitable for a card shop?
Yes. Start a group for your shop, put the QR code at the till and plan trade nights with a packing list. Announcements reach everyone, and the group charts show which cards your community wants right now. Questions? kontakt@aldo161.dev
What does a higher level bring?
More card scans per day, a new badge every two levels and a matching frame around your profile picture - from blue to the shimmering Tera crystal. Admins unlock rare group balls at levels 6 and 8.
What do the percentages on achievements mean?
This many of all accounts already have the achievement. Rare achievements that at most one in five has are marked in gold. Tap an achievement for all the details.
Which cards are there?
German, English and Japanese Pokémon cards, plus trainers and energies - in every print, from normal to SAR.
Is the app available in German?
Yes. Before signing in with the DE/EN switch at the top right, when signed in under Settings → Language. Card names and notifications switch too.
How do I delete my account?
In the app under Settings → "Password, code & delete account" → "Delete account". You can export your lists first.
